Il progetto "She loves her skin" indaga la metamorfosi umana, l'androginia, la trasgressione celati nella realtà urbana.
Il soggetto, uomo o donna che sia, puo' trasformarsi e cambiare pelle.
L'auto si ferma in un paesaggio di desolazione urbana…non c'è nessuno…non c'e' nessuno…
Un respiro roco e ed un'alito di vento tagliano il grigiore nebuloso delle ceneri di una città solo fantasma
ed ecco nell'ombra gremita di fuliggine svelarsi figure diafane e sensualmente fiabesche.
Esse indossano il non essere piu' profondo dell'uomo nascosto nel profondo dell'io dietro la maschera del benessere quotidiano.
Il progetto fotografico è stato realizzato in un ambiente di “metamorfosi” quale la periferia cittadina,
zone industriali e l’ambiente naturale.

Il progetto "She loves her skin" è stato presentato a diverse esposizioni nazionali ed internazionali:
- 2006 Collettiva: Premio Open Art III°: Galleria Sale del Bramante, Roma (Italy).
- 2005 Collettiva: Premio Storie e Controstorie della Realtà Urbana, Spazio Fieristico "le Ciminiere" di Catania (Italy).
Premio sezione Giovani Artisti, Premio Speciale della Critica x Video arte e Progetto Fotografico sui Trans-Gender.
- 2005 Collettiva: Premio Storie e Controstorie della Realtà Urbana, Castello Chaiaramontano di Racalmuto, Catania (Italy).

Maristella Colombo Biografia:

Maristella Colombo was born in 1979 in Borgomanero (NO) Italy.
She graduated in Art-Direction in Communication and
Visual Design at "The International College of Arts and Science"
in Milan (Italy) in 2003.
She studied Fashion Design at "Marangoni fashion school"
and at "London College of fashion" London (UK).
She worked for different Fashion Houses like Boudicca(London-UK), Susan Cianciolo

(New York-USA)and Brums(Italy).
Today she teaches "Contemporary Fashion Hystory" at IED-European
Institute of Design in Milan and she works as a fashion designer consultant
for different fashion labels.
She launched her brand Maiden-art in June 2006 supported by European Union,
Progetto NUOVOLAVORO CNA and by Camera Commercio Milano Rotary Club Progetto Virgilio.
Maristella Colombo presented her haute couture collection Les ombres des fleurs
"Collection A/W 2006/2007,at Palais de Festival de Cannes, Cannes (France)
for SEAT Trophee des Createurs de Mode,"SEAT FASHION DESIGNER'S AWARD",
Cannes (France)in July 2006.
She works also as a photographer and a video artist, showing her work in International and 
Italian Exhibition like: Museum Fashion Day-Casoria Contemporary Art Museum
curated by A.Manfredi, BJCEM- Biennial of European and Mediterranean Young Artists
curated by A.Bonito Oliva, AWW International Youth Salon - International
